The short version
This website has no accounts, no sign-up, no contact form and no analytics. We do not set tracking cookies, and we do not build a profile of you. There is nothing here for us to sell, and we do not sell it.
What the web server records
Like any web server, ours writes a log line when a page is requested: the address requested, the time, the response code, your browser's user-agent string and your IP address. These logs exist to keep the service running and to spot abuse. They are kept on our own server, are not shared, and are rotated.
The blog
Our blog runs on Ghost. Membership and subscriptions are switched off, so no account can be created and no newsletter list exists. Ghost sets a cookie only for signed-in staff writing posts — not for readers.
If you message us on WhatsApp
The contact buttons open WhatsApp. That conversation happens on WhatsApp's infrastructure and is covered by their privacy terms, not ours. We keep the message thread so we can carry on the conversation, and nothing more. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Products are separate
This policy covers this website. Our products handle data differently and each has its own terms — several of them are designed to run entirely on your device or your own server precisely so that no data reaches us at all.
Advertising
We do not currently show advertising. If that changes, this page will be updated before any advertising appears, and it will say plainly what the advertising provider sets and how to opt out.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Message us and we will do it.
This page describes what we actually do, in plain language. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a policy reviewed by a lawyer in your jurisdiction.
